    The WT3000P drives up to eight 350 Ω load cells (or sixteen 700 Ω cells) with a 5 VDC excitation, which covers the vast majority of industrial scale builds across four common categories.

    Standard 4-cell pallet scales, drum scales, and stainless steel washdown platforms. The IP68 housing pairs cleanly with food-grade scale decks; the 16-format serial output handles every PC or PLC the platform feeds.

    Use the built-in check-weigh function (high/low limits with audible beep) to turn any single-point load cell scale into a go/no-go checkweigher. Piece counting mode supported when filling, counting, or pre-packaging.

    Truck scales

    Eight 350 Ω cells across two summing junction boxes is the standard pit-scale or above-ground truck-scale build. NTEP legal-for-trade certification is required for commercial truck weighing — the WT3000P delivers it out of the box.

    Cabling note: The WT3000P uses 6-wire load cell connection (sense + signal + excitation, both polarities, plus ground) for long cable runs without voltage-drop drift. 4-wire load cells can be jumpered at the indicator. Maximum recommended cable run depends on cell impedance and total cell count.

    The built-in full-duplex RS232 port and 16 selectable transmission formats cover practically every downstream device a scale builder pairs an indicator with — PLCs over Modbus-ASCII, PC software over serial, network gateways, and direct connection to ticket printers and remote displays. Optional Bluetooth gives you wireless data capture to a tablet, phone, or laptop on the floor.

    Print accumulating ticket formats with date, time, gross, tare, and net to Epson TM-U295 or Zebra TLP2844 / CG420 thermal printers — useful for buyer transactions on truck and livestock scales. Pair with the DR-WT75, DR-WT125, or DR-WT200 remote displays for visible-from-the-aisle readouts. Foot switch input lets the operator zero, tare, or print hands-free.

    Is the WT3000P NTEP certified for legal-for-trade?

    Yes. The WT3000P is NTEP certified at Class III, up to 10,000 divisions. That covers commercial truck weighing, livestock sales, and any application where the weight reading is the basis for a transaction.

    How many load cells can I drive from one indicator?

    Up to 8 cells at 350 Ω in parallel, or up to 16 cells at 700 Ω — both configurations present the same effective impedance to the 5 VDC excitation circuit. For larger arrays, use a summing junction box and treat the J-box output as a single signal source.

    Which printers and remote displays are compatible?

    Direct serial integration with Epson TM-U295 and TM-U220, Zebra TLP2844 and CG420, and Elgin L42 thermal printers. Remote displays from the Weightech DR-WT75 / DR-WT125 / DR-WT200 line connect directly via the same RS232 port with a dedicated transmission format.

    Can I get the WT3000P with Bluetooth?

    Yes. The Bluetooth interface is an optional factory-installed module — contact sales with your application and we'll confirm pricing and lead time for the Bluetooth-equipped configuration.

    How long does the internal battery last?

    Up to 15 hours of runtime per charge from the 6 V / 4.5 Ah internal battery. Recharge takes about 8 hours from the 110/220 VAC supply. For installations without consistent power, dedicated 12 VDC or solar configurations are available — ask sales.

    What's the difference between the WT3000P and the WT3000-IR-AG cattle scale kit?

    The WT3000P is the stand-alone indicator in an ABS IP68 housing — for scale builders integrating it into platform, bench, livestock, or truck scales. The WT3000-IR-AG is a complete pre-mounted livestock kit (indicator + two weigh bars + power supplies + IP65 carry case) tuned for chute-side and pasture use with a 40-hour extended battery and integrated Bluetooth.
