With our office strategic located in Miami, FL we now supply the U.S. and the Latin America market in addition to our headquarter in Florianopolis, Brazil which takes care of our local operations in that territory.  Weightech activities began in 1986, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. With the provision of technical assistance services, calibration, sales and rent of scales, in addition to the development of weighing systems for industries. However, it was in July 05, 2001 that Weightech secured approval of a major project for the development of enterprise to host the Center for Production of Advanced Technologies (CELTIC in Portuguese), an incubator for technology companies in Florianopolis. | |

On the beginning of 2002, Weightech achieved our first milestone and established a distribution agreement with the German manufacturer Hottinger Baldwin Messtechnick (HBM), a worldwide leader in technology equipment, assuming the sole responsibility of HBM in Brazil, in its division of weighing. With that collaboration, Weightech began to expand the range of products, adding a second office of the incubator, doubling the company area. | |

 In May of 2005, another milestone. Weightech has obtained INMETRO certification approval for its first equipment Weightech, and in December, another INMETRO certification for the first equipment tailored to a large client. | |
| 2007... |
In April 2007, only 6 years of operations, Weightech already had 24 certifications with and ranked number 10 of Brazilian companies with the largest number of certified weighing equipment. Our office space doubled again. That is when we enlarged our technical and sales team. | |
| 2008... |
 From 2008, Weightech began to pass through an important evolutionary process. Business partnerships showed increasingly promising, the space at CELTIC was already at its limit and the number of equipment sold already totaled one of the largest catalogs of segment in Brazil. The constant logistical investment has become one of the major differentials of Weightech, which began to approach the national market leadership of weighing products. | |

In this step, the outbreak of Weightech was inevitable. In March 2009, in a project of investment extremely bold and outstanding, Weightech left the incubator and opened the doors of its new Headquarters in Florianopolis. The new venture, which already had 7000sf in a location carefully chosen for logistics, was one of the most important milestones in the history of Weightech. The new structure allowed that Weightech broaden even more your range of investments in technology and innovation and thus ensure full autonomy to meet any weighing systems project for any industrial sector. | |

Our tenth anniversary! The direction of Weightech began to invest more heavily in the administrative structure, and the consequent increase in new demand. Also, this was the year when our sales office in Sao Paulo increased in size and sales force. | |

This was a remarkable year for Weightech! From detailed planning, abundant market study and careful negotiations, Weightech started operating in the U.S. market from our office in Miami, FL becoming a global distributor for weighing systems. Adding the U.S. and Latin America markets (other than Brazil) to our portfolio was vital to turn ourselves into a global distributor accumulation experience in this industry from different parts of the world. | |
