Where it fits in the lane.

From the inbound gate to the outbound dispatch screen: five weighing points along a single truck's path. Pick the ones your operation needs — they share one indicator family so the panel stays simple.

Powered by WT-RODO

Run the lane unattended.

WT-RODO ties the deck, the gate, the lights, the cameras, and the yard display into one automation workflow — so the scale house doesn't need an operator for routine traffic.

6 Subsystems
  • A Identification

    RFID vehicle ID

Tags on each truck read automatically at the gate. The weighing cycle links to the vehicle — no manual ticket or plate entry.

    WT-RODO IN/OUT logic
  • B Access

    Gate open / close

Entrance barrier driven by WT-RODO — open only when the deck is free and the light is green. Anti-crush logic on the safety sensors.

    Configurable timings
  • C Flow control

    Traffic light signals

Red / green cues to the driver synced with the cycle state. WT-RODO holds traffic until the truck is fully positioned and the reading is captured.

    Synced with the deck
  • D Evidence

    IP camera snapshots

WT-RODO triggers IP cameras on weigh-in and weigh-out. Snapshots and short clips are stored with the weight record — LPR add-on optional.

    Per-transaction capture
  • E Visibility

    Remote LED display

High-visibility outdoor LED repeater shows the weight to drivers and loaders in the yard. Serial or Ethernet, paired with the WT27R.

    Sealed outdoor housing
  • F Positioning

    Presence sensors

Axle and presence detectors confirm the truck is fully on the deck before WT-RODO captures the legal weight. Interlocked with the gate.

    Essential for unattended ops

Built for the gate.

Three weighing points the logistics operation lives or dies on. Same indicator family runs all three, so the panel doesn't fight you and the operator doesn't relearn the screen.

    Pit truck scale + ticketing

A complete 70-ft / 80-ft pit or surface scale: rocker columns, smart junction, WT27R indicator, and RODO ticketing. NTEP-certifiable. Gate-in, weigh, gate-out — under two minutes.

    Onboard vehicle weighing

Air-bag pressure cells on the tractor and trailer subframe. Driver sees gross + axle weights in the cab; dispatch sees the same numbers en route — no overload citations, no return trips for short loads.

    Smart junction + diagnostics

The CLM8 Smart Junction Box exposes per-cell mV/V over RS-485, with an optional LoRa radio for wireless installs. Find a drifted corner before it walks the calibration off legal-for-trade. Spare-cell hot-swap without recalibrating the scale.

Specs that survive the inspector.

  • NTEP CC

The WT27R indicator holds an NTEP Certificate of Conformance. NTEP-certified cell variants are available from Berman, Zemic, and Vishay — ask for the certified model when legal-for-trade is the target.

  • NIST HB-44

Reference framework for commercial vehicle scales in the US. Our kits are spec'd to the HB-44 tolerance class once installed and sealed by a state-licensed scale technician.

  • OIML

The analog rocker-column cells we stock (BLCQ, BRP, BHM14H, MP-series) carry OIML approval. R76 indicator approval is checked per-project on international shipments.

  • Calibration

Manufacturer calibration certificates ship with cells that carry them. Field calibration and recertification is the local state-licensed scale technician's job — we'll point you to one when you need it.

For fleet ops & truck-scale integrators

Send us your scale drawings.
We'll send back a complete kit.

Drop foundation plans, deck dimensions, or even a photo of the existing scale and its nameplate. We respond with a kit BOM, cell capacity, junction wiring, indicator config, lead time, and the calibration path — usually within one business day.

How a project goes.

From a yard sketch to a calibrated scale with a NTEP sticker on the cabinet. We work in four discrete steps so nothing gets dropped between sales and the foundation crew.

4 Steps
  1. 01 Survey

    Yard layout & intake call.

You share the yard layout, vehicle mix, daily truck count, and whether you're pit, surface, or axle-only. We confirm constraints — soil, drainage, certification target, host-system integration.

    < 1 business day
  2. 02 Engineering

    Kit BOM, drawings, and quote.

You receive a complete parts list with model numbers, cell capacities, NTEP-eligible parts called out, junction wiring diagram, indicator config, and lead time per line item.

    1–3 business days
  3. 03 Supply

    Stock pull, kit, & ship.

WT27R kits ship same-day from our Davie, FL warehouse. Pre-matched cell sets, pre-terminated junctions, surge protection, mounting hardware — one crate per scale, labeled to your project number.

    Same-day to 4 weeks
  4. 04 Calibrate

    Field support & sign-off.

Phone, video, or on-site support during commissioning. Corner-load adjust through the smart junction, test-truck calibration walk-through, NTEP sealing if applicable, and final documentation handoff.

Procurement FAQ.

The questions that come up on every truck-scale project — NTEP scope, foundation, calibration, software integration, and lead times.

5 Questions
  • The WT27R indicator holds an NTEP Certificate of Conformance. The rocker-column cells we kit with it (Berman BRP / BSDS, Zemic BHM14H / DHM14H, Vishay-Revere and Vishay-Sensortronics columns, MP-series) are available in NTEP-certified variants — certs are issued per model number and capacity, so confirm the exact configuration with your sales contact. Junction boxes (WTX-12, WTX-12D, CLM8), surge protection, and dispatch software are not metrology-controlled and don't carry NTEP individually. The kit becomes a legal-for-trade system after installation is sealed by a state-licensed scale technician.

  • Surface scales sit on a flat concrete pad with ramps on either end — usually 8–12 in of reinforced concrete with adequate drainage. Pit scales drop into a poured concrete pit with weep drains, anchor pockets per the scale OEM drawing, and clearance for cell access. We supply the scale OEM's foundation drawing with the quote; the slab/pit work itself runs through your local civil contractor.

  • State weights-and-measures inspectors typically reseal commercial truck scales once a year; some states are 18 months. Internal recalibration is good practice every 6 months for high-volume scales (200+ tickets/day). The WTX smart junction can flag drift cell-by-cell between calibrations so you catch a bad corner before the inspector does — ask us about the diagnostics workflow.

  • Yes. The WT27R offers serial (RS-232 / RS-485), Ethernet, and configurable string output. Our WT-RODO ticketing is the turn-key path — customer accounts, gross/tare/net tickets, overload alerts, daily reports. If you already run TMS or dispatch (McLeod, TruckMate, Cetaris, etc.), tell us the integration spec and we'll match the output string or stream weighments by webhook.

  • WT27R kits with HM14H, BRP, BSDS, or MP-series cells ship same-day from Davie, FL stock in the popular 8 / 10 / 12-cell configurations — wired analog, wired digital, or fully wireless (CLM8 + LoRa). Specialty builds — oversized capacities, ATEX, custom cabinetry, in-motion configurations — typically run 2–4 weeks. We confirm exact dates with the quote and ship-by date with the order ack.
