CLM8PC: the CLM8 in an IP67 polycarbonate box with transparent lid.
The Laumas CLM8PC (SKU 23128) is the IP67 polycarbonate box version of the CLM8 intelligent junction box: eight independent load-cell channels with digital equalization, load distribution analysis and automatic diagnostics, a backlit LCD with a 4-key keyboard, and RS485/RS232 communication.

The datasheet shows the CLM8 in a weighbridge system: load cells feeding the CLM8, which connects to a W series indicator, database, printer and remote display (p.2). As a multi-channel junction box it is also used on:

02Load distribution analysis
Shows the load percentage on each active channel, with an archive to store, consult and print.
03Automatic diagnostics
Detailed diagnostics of each load cell (max. 8) and immediate reporting of anomalies, including on a connected weight indicator.
04Communication
RS485 and RS232 with ModBus RTU, ASCII Laumas or continuous one-way transmission. Up to 32 instruments on one RS485 line (99 with repeaters).
05Tilt compensation (optional)
With an optional inclinometer (not included) the weight is corrected for tilt up to ±10°.
06Event archive
Stores the last 50 significant events: zeroing, calibration, equalization and alarms.

Which cable gland configuration is fitted?
Ask us before ordering. The Laumas datasheet lists several CASTL box variants (no holes, 4+2 or 8+3 M16x1.5 glands, or 4+2 PVC end-fittings) and we confirm the one supplied with this SKU.
What is the working temperature for legal-for-trade use?
-10 to +40 °C for type-approved instruments (OIML R76:2006 class III, 3 x 10000 divisions). The general working range is -20 to +60 °C.
Is Ethernet included?
No. Ethernet TCP/IP is an option on request (OPZETTCPCLM); the standard ports are RS485 and RS232.
