WT27R Truck Scale Indicator

The WT27R is a truck scale indicator built for everyday road weighing. It focuses on delivering clear, repeatable weights and keeping a reliable record of each weighing. It drives a full-length truck scale with multiple load cells and shows all main values on a 7" color display in a stainless-steel housing suitable for the scale house.

How it improves daily truck scale work

The WT27R stores more than 30,000 complete weighing records in its internal memory and keeps an internal real-time clock. This removes dependence on paper tickets and external PCs for basic history, making it possible to retrieve and reprint weighings directly from the indicator when customers or auditors request past data.

The indicator registers up to 1,600 customers and 1,600 products, plus pre-registered tares and multiple discount types (such as moisture, impurities, cleaning and technical discounts). Once this base is configured, repeat operations become faster and more consistent, with the operator selecting existing records instead of retyping information or calculating corrections by hand.

For truck in/out and single weighing, the WT27R guides the operator through a defined sequence on the 7" graphic display, showing gross, tare and net weight with clear status information. Dedicated front keys and function keys, together with the supplied mini PC-style keyboard, reduce typing errors, keep the weighing routine standardized between shifts and shorten training time for new operators.

When a truck is on the platform, specific digital filters for road operation stabilize the weight indication on long weighbridges, reducing the need for repeated zeroing or waiting for the display to settle. This helps keep the line moving while maintaining repeatable readings in typical truck scale conditions.

The WT27R combines indicator and basic data management in one device. It prints tickets via serial connection to dot-matrix printers and can reprint the last weighing directly from the panel. It also generates reports by date, customer, product, plate or operator, so end-of-day or end-of-month summaries can start from the data already structured inside the indicator instead of manual consolidation of loose tickets.

On the hardware side, the unit supports up to 16 × 350 Ω analog load cells in parallel or up to 16 compatible digital cells or digitizers, allowing use in both new and retrofit truck scale installations. A wide-range 85–245 VAC power supply, stainless steel housing and IP65 front protection align with typical electrical and environmental conditions found in scale houses.

For integration, the WT27R includes dedicated serial outputs for printers, remote displays and communication with PCs or other devices over RS-232 or RS-485, with optional Ethernet for TCP/IP networks. This allows the scale to feed external systems without turning the indicator into a custom or closed platform.
