    Legal-for-trade weight storage for the WT1 and WT3.

    The SysTec ASM (SKU 20291) is the weight storage module (data archive) for the WT1 and WT3 weighing terminals. It plugs into the ASM socket, is secured with a screw, and keeps the most recent 1,000,000 weighings. It is the option the manual requires for W&M approved weight storage.

    A permanent record of every weighing.

    One record per weighing

    A record is saved for every completed weighing cycle: weight, date and identification number (Id No.). The archive keeps the latest 1,000,000 entries.

    Read-only data

    Stored weights are read-only and cannot be deleted or changed.

    Traceable on the printout

    Date and Id No. must appear on the printout or be stored with the weight on the host computer, so a weighing can be verified later. The archive can also replace a log printer when data goes to a PC system.

    For the WT1 and WT3 only.

    The ASM is the alibi option for the WT1 and WT3 (SysTec IT1 and IT3). The larger terminals use different alibi storage, so this module does not apply to them.

    WT1 and WT3

    Both have a dedicated ASM socket on the mainboard; the module is fastened with one screw.

    WT4000 and WT8000

    Use a SysTec USB memory stick (No. 19OPT602) for alibi storage instead of an ASM module.

    WT6000

    Uses an alibi memory board (ASB), which cannot be retrofitted and must be chosen when the terminal is ordered.

    Do I need it for legal-for-trade use?

    The WT1 manual states that an ASM module is required for the W&M approved weight storage (data archive). Confirm the requirements of your own approval with your local authority.

    Does it fit the WT4000, WT6000 or WT8000?

    No. Those terminals use a USB memory stick (WT4000, WT8000) or an alibi board (WT6000) instead.
