The WT4000 is a W&M approved industrial weight indicator built for the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and general process industries. A 5.7″ color TFT with eight 44-character display lines, a 266 MHz 32-bit ARM running real-time Linux, and a 120,000-record W&M data archive let it stand in for a stack of single-purpose indicators — weigh-and-print, parts counting, vehicle weighing, checkweighing, and filling, all from one terminal.
Modular hardware means the same WT4000 chassis fits a manual workstation, a 2-scale checkweigher, a 4-cell truck-scale ticket terminal, or an OEM-embedded controller behind a SCADA front-end — without changing the platform underneath.

The WT4000 ships with these application modes installed. Each one is a complete, configurable program — not a feature flag — and you switch between them on the device or by login.
01 BASICBASIC — weigh and print
Capture W&M-approved weight from one or two scales (floor, bench, overhead track). Add IDs via keyboard or barcode (cabled / wireless). Transmit over Ethernet or WLAN. Archive on-device or to host PC.
02 COUNTCOUNT — parts counting
Acquire piece weight from a reference scale. Count in weigh-in or weigh-out mode. Bar-graph display, configurable printout, transmission, article file with item counter and totals memory.
03 TRUCKTRUCK — vehicle weighing
In-and-out vehicle ticketing with stored tare or live tare. ONLINE interface mode for host-system control. Archive of approved tickets stays on the indicator.
04 CHECKCHECK — checkweighing
Static high/low pass-fail. Tolerance bands per product. Visual pass/fail indication. Stats per product, per shift, per operator.
05 DOSDOS NAWI — filling
Filling controller with W&M approval. Single- or two-speed dosing, automatic preact compensation, tolerance check, and product file. Suits chemical, food, and pharma fills.

The indicator is W&M-approved for legal-for-trade weighing. Its 120,000-record on-device archive holds W&M-approved weighings without depending on a PC being online — useful when the network drops or audit pulls a sample from last quarter.

Do I need WT4000, WT6000, or WT8000?
Roughly: WT4000 is the workhorse mid-size industrial indicator with the standard application set. WT6000 adds freer programmability and heavier I/O for batching and demanding industrial loops. WT8000 is the IP69K stainless controller with the deepest I/O for filling, batching, checkweighing, and vehicle weighing. Send us your application and we’ll narrow it down.
Is the WT4000 W&M approved out of the box?
Yes — the WT4000 is W&M approved (legal-for-trade) and NTEP certified. The 120,000-record archive stores approved weighings on-device.
Can I write my own application?
The WT4000 ships configurable, not freely programmable. For custom-coded application logic, the WT6000 is the freely-programmable terminal in the same family.
How many load cells does the input support?
Standard analog strain-gauge connection accepts the usual 4-cell or 8-cell summing-box configurations. Send us your load cell model and cell count and we’ll confirm fit.
Can the WT4000 talk to my PLC / SCADA / ERP?
Yes. Use Ethernet and the integrated web server for HTTP-style integrations; ONLINE mode for PC-driven sequencing; barcode for ID capture. For Modbus and fieldbus protocols, send us the host system spec and we’ll confirm the right interface module.
Stainless steel housing — what's the wash-down rating?
The WT4000 ships in an industrial stainless housing. For full IP69K high-pressure washdown, specifically ask for the IP69K-rated configuration when you order — the WT8000 and the WT3 / WT1 indicator lines are also IP69K-rated alternatives in the same range.
